Students will form teams (max. 4 students/team) develop a solution to a social problem (gender equality, hunger, unemployment, youth problems etc.) analyze the solution (as if you’re setting up a project/social enterprise/NGO) in terms of social impact management.
Teams will produce a report describing:
1. Name and describe your project/social enterprise/NGO
2. a. Decribe the social problem you’re dealing with and its’ context (current social/economic/political etc.)
b. Draw your problem tree and objective tree (20 points)
3. a. Discuss your solutions (how you solve this problem) and how this problem is solved by other examples (use academic/field studies)
b. Describe your activities (20 points)
4. a. Make your the stakeholder analysis
b. Segment your beneficiaries (15 points)
5. Draw your theory of change (20 points)
6. Determine the indicators for measurement of the change(s): determine a set of performance criteria for your impact/change(s) (15 points)
7. Discuss your plans for future reporting and how you will evaluate the impact of the project/institution (what kind of reporting you would have and when you will make evaluations) (10 points)
