With the spinning wheel, Hallie has a 1 in 6 chance of getting any number in the range 1 to 6. So the odds on getting a 5 are 1 in 6 or 1/6.

Imagine that Hallie rolls just one number cube. Whatever number she gets, she then has to get that same number when she rolls the second number cube. She has a 1 in 6 chance of getting that same number.when the second cube is rolled.

The odds/probabilities for both events are the same at 1 in 6 or 1/6.
