The word that belongs to the blank space is well. This is because its modifying the verb did, and to do so an adverb is needed. Good, on the other hand, is an adjective used to modify a noun.
Grammatically speaking, the correct use is well. But the use of "did good" is widely spread, especially in informal contexts.
