Given equation : [tex]2x^2-3=-6x-2[/tex].

We need to write it in standard form [tex]ax^2+bx+c=0[/tex]

First we need to get rid -2 from right side.

Adding 2 on both sides we get

[tex]2x^2-3+2=-6x-2+2[/tex]

[tex]2x^2-1 = -6x[/tex]

Now, we need to get rid -6x from right side to get 0 on rigth side.

Adding 6x on both sides we get

[tex]2x^2-1+6x = -6x+6x[/tex]

[tex]2x^2+6x-1=0[/tex]

Therefore, [tex]2x^2-3=-6x-2[/tex] could be written as [tex]2x^2+6x-1=0[/tex] in [tex]ax^2+bx+c=0[/tex] form.
