PROJECT: HYGIENE HABITS
The practice of personal hygiene should be a natural part of your everyday life. Brushing your teeth should be a customary part of your morning activities. Washing your hands after you use the restroom should be habitual behavior. Keeping your nails trimmed and clean should be routine.
For an activity to become a habit, however, you have to perform it conscientiously. Some people are able to form habits within a week or two. It takes several months for other people. Your enthusiasm for an activity contributes much to the chances that it will be formed into a habit.
In this activity, you will become familiar with some of the practices of personal hygiene. Follow the daily regimen below for the next week. Record your fulfillment of the daily activities on a separate sheet of paper.
