Hello!
0.5 (5 - 7x) = 8 - (4x+6)
2.5 - 3.5x = 8 - 4x + 6
2.5 - 3.5x = 2 - 4x
-3.5x + 4x = 2 - 2.5
0.5x = -0.5
X = -1
Your answer is x = -1. I hope this helps!
