I love my child but do not like most other peoples children due to lack of teaching on the parents part. In general parents today; do not teach their children respect, hard work, or manners. I would interview the parents of potential children to determine the fit of the child in with my own child(ren) and values. If there are differences of option; that would be the time to put in out on the table. I would treat any other child as if they were my own including punishment as well as reward.
