A box of matches measures 1 cm by 4 cm by 5 cm. Boxes of matches are packed in a cardboard box measuring 15 cm by 32 cm by 40 cm. How many boxes of matches fit into the cardboard box?

5x1x4=20 which is the volume of the match box

15x32x40=19200 which is the volume of the cardboard box

You then divide the volume of the cardboard box by the volume of the matches
19200/20= 960
