Which is a comma splice? If you are not patient when you sew, you are more likely to make mistakes. Sometimes, I design my own clothes, but other times, I use commercial patterns to make them. I learned to sew by taking a class, it was taught by a great teacher. Making new clothes is fun, and it can also be less expensive than buying them.

A comma splice is when you use a comma to put together two independent clauses. In this case, it would be, "I learned to sew by taking a class, it was taught by a great teacher."
