If y = 32 when x = 8, that means that [tex]x = \frac{y}{4} [/tex].
In other words, x equals 32 divided by 4.
If we are given y, to find x, we just divide by 4.
Since y is 64 we divide 64 by 4,
[tex] \frac{64}{4} = 16[/tex]
x = 16 is our final answer ^-^
