The perimeter of a square is 4 times as great as the lenth of any of its sides determine if the perimeter of a square is proportional to its side lenth

Respuesta :

Catya
let; x = side length
perimeter = 4x

since it's a square, with equal sides, the perimeter will always be proportional to it's side length. increase the side, increases the perimeter.

proportional: two quantities having the same constant ratio or relation. The quantities x and y are proportional if:
y/x = k
where k is the constant of proportionality.

4x/x = 4
k = 4
