Solve the equation for Y? 2xy+x=12

Answer: y = (12-x)/(2x)

Work Shown:
2xy+x = 12
2xy+x-x = 12-x ... subtract x from both sides
2xy = 12-x
2xy/2x = (12-x)/(2x) ... divide both sides by 2x to get y all by itself
y = (12-x)/(2x)
