If there are 26 children in a class how 2/5 are boys how many boys are there

5 won't go into 26 perfectly. 1/5 of 26 is just over 5, so 2/5 is a bit more than 10. For general rounding, you would round to 10, but you are also supposed to round up when you're talking about a fraction of a person, to 11, so I'd go with 11 boys.
I got 10.4, but since u can't have 4/10 of a boy, your answer is 10
