At a baseball game, a vender sold a combined total of 147 sodas and hot dogs. The number of sodas sold was two times the number of hotdogs sold. Find the number of sodas and the number of hotdogs sold

98 sodas and 49 hot dogs

Proof:

2 (sodas) + 1 (hot dogs) =3

divide 147 by 3 to get 49

multiply 49 by 2 to get the numbers of sodas sold = 98

multiply 49 by 1 to get the number of hot dogs sold = 49
